Jessica's story
"After working for many years in the bridal hair and makeup industry as an owner of Mode Bridal Hair and Make Up, I decided that I wanted to take my creativity to the next level. I have always been obsessed with looking at my brides chosen hair accessories and quickly realised how important it is the pick the right accessory for your hair style. When bride after bride started asking for my advice on what hair accessory they should choose to go with their hair style that we had created, I thought it was time to put together my own collections.
I spent hours and hours choosing the right pieces, with the right fixings, the right styles and the right finishes and here was born, Devoted."

"I would have to say my favourite collection was our 2022 collection. Within this range, is the ‘Luxe Ava Pearl Hairband’ which is my favourite accessory to date. It was our first statement hairband and it looks absolutely gorgeous on our brides. I love how it's a real showstopper and depending on your wedding style can look chic and classy, or cool and edgy. Like its namesake, my daughter, this piece is equally as special to me."
However, within our new 2023 collection we have some new statement sparkle hairbands and these are also totally gorgeous! They could steal the limelight. We'll see..."

I absolute love this quote and refer back to it all the time when running the business. Whenever I feel like I am ‘just’ creating hair accessories, I remember all of the brides and their feedback on how the pieces made their day that extra bit more special. A bridal hair accessory can tie your whole bridal vision together and be the final piece to complete your look!"
Jessica's favourite hair and make up look
"I would have to say that my favourite make up look is a fresh, dewy look which is all about good skin. I like a strong textured eyebrow and simple eyeshadow with just a subtle pop of sparkle. Layer that by adding a soft smokey flick and a cat eye shaped lashes – and, voila! Finish off the look with a Mac Cosmetics Velvet Teddy Lipstick and a swoosh of gloss. My favourite bridal hair style would have to be between Hollywood waves and a textured bridal bun. I love them both for different reasons and couldn’t choose between the two!"
